The Nexus One is a black, cable-free rollator on 6 inch wheels, sold by Human Care Canada in three articles: 490017 (17), 490020 (20) and 490022 (22).
Who is the Nexus One for?
- For someone who walks mainly indoors, wants a seat for rest, and can manage a frame of 17 to 17.9 lbs (7.7 to 8.1 kg).
- For smaller spaces such as a hallway or a store aisle.
- For outdoor walking on a regular route, the Nexus 3 has larger 8 inch wheels and a heavier frame.
Which size fits?
- 17: seat 17 in (47 cm), handles 28.4 to 31.5 in (72 to 80 cm).
- 20: seat 20 in (51 cm), handles 29 to 35 in (74 to 89 cm).
- 22: seat 22 in (56 cm), handles 31 to 38 in (79 to 97 cm).
- All three are 23 in (58 cm) wide, with 17.3 in (44 cm) between the handles.
- Tell us the user's weight and height when you order so we can confirm the size.
How do the brakes and fold work?
- The brakes are cable-free, with a red ball at the end of each handle, so there is no cable to catch on furniture.
- The frame cross-folds with the seat strap and stands folded with the bag still on.
- One side can be partly folded to pass a narrow gap.
How do the seat and basket work?
- Lock both parking brakes before anyone sits.
- The seat is for resting, not for carrying someone who is being pushed. Never use it as a wheelchair or transport chair.
- The seat has a foam cushion and a padded backrest that flips both ways (part P48010).
- The soft zippered bag is rated to 11 lbs (5 kg) and is part 93280. The seat cover can be machine washed at 60 C for 7 to 8 minutes.
What else should I know?
- Black only, in sizes 17, 20 and 22.
- A cup holder, slow-down brakes, tray, hard basket and curb climber are optional, not included.
- Do not flush the wheel bearings; wipe them clean.
- The frame is 23 in (58 cm) wide; measure the narrowest indoor doorway, including the bathroom.

Can I use the Nexus One outdoors?
Yes, on firm surfaces, but it is designed mainly for indoor use. The 6 inch wheels suit floors at home, store aisles and similar smooth surfaces. Do not plan this model for grass, gravel or broken sidewalks.
Can someone push me while I sit on it?
No. It is not a wheelchair or transport chair, and nobody should push a seated user.

Warranty
Warranty details
Human Care Canada warrants the neXus oNe rollator to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship, from the original purchase date. The warranty is not transferable.
- Frame: 5 years.
- All other distributed parts: 1 year.
- Covers parts and materials; dealer service and labour charges are not covered. A replaced part is replaced only once in the warranty period.
- The rollator must be inspected yearly by an authorized dealer to keep the warranty. Requests need proof of purchase and Human Care Canada's approval before work starts.
- Excludes parts subject to fair wear and tear. Void after neglect, accident or misuse, repair by anyone other than an authorized dealer, or use of parts not supplied by Human Care Canada.
