Description
The Pride Go-Go Super Portable (model SC15) is a four-wheel folding scooter for a rider up to 300 lbs (136 kg). It folds in one piece with the seat still on, so there is nothing to lift apart, and it weighs 41.6 lbs (18.9 kg) without the battery.
Who it suits, and who should choose something else
- A rider who can transfer alone, drives indoors, in stores or on smooth pavement, and lifts the folded scooter into a car.
- Grass, gravel, sand and steep driveways are the wrong surface. Ground clearance is 1.85 in (47 mm) at the motor and 3.7 in (94 mm) at mid-deck, and the slope limit is 6 degrees.
- For a lighter lift, compare the Go-Go Carbon: 6.6 lbs lighter, but it does not fold as flat.
- If you need a cushion or back support for posture, ask your therapist about a power wheelchair.
Folded size and fit
- It folds with three levers: the seat back goes down, the tiller folds and the frame closes. The seat stays on.
- Folded, it stands 11.81 in (300 mm) high and about 12 in (30 cm) deep. Open, it is 37.2 in (945 mm) long and 21.5 in (547 mm) wide.
- The turn is 51.6 in (1311 mm), wide for a small scooter; measure the space where you turn around.
- The seat is 15.7 in wide and 14.7 in deep (399 x 375 mm), with 16.6 in (422 mm) from the deck to the seat.
- With the battery in it weighs 49.6 lbs (22.5 kg); without it, 41.6 lbs (18.9 kg). The whole folded scooter is the heaviest piece.
Batteries and charging
- One 11.7 Ah lithium-ion pack, about 8 lbs (3.6 kg), is included. Range is up to 14.2 km (8.8 mi) at 300 lbs, or 16.3 km (10.1 mi) at 220 lbs.
- A 16 Ah pack is the other size Pride lists; it is not the pack sold here.
- The 3.5 amp Charge360 charger is magnetic and off-board; it is included.
- Operate between -10 and 50 C. The scooter is IPX4 splash rated: wipe it, never hose it, and keep the tiller console dry. Never charge a frozen battery.
- We replace worn batteries.
Safe use
- Regenerative braking plus an electromechanical disc park brake. A rear freewheel lever is for pushing on level ground, key out, never with anyone seated.
- It is not a seat in a moving vehicle and does not meet ISO 7176-19: remove the battery and secure both separately, never on a front seat.
- Front and rear lights are fitted; there is no suspension.

No. The seat folds with the frame and stays attached.
What does the airline need to know?
The battery is tested to UN 38.3 and lifts out. No watt-hour rating is published, so read the pack label and get the airline's approval before you book.

Warranty details
Pride Mobility warrants the Go-Go Super Portable sold in Canada to the original purchaser against defects in material and workmanship.
- Structural frame (main frame, fork, seat post, tiller frame): limited lifetime.
- Transaxle, motor brake (electronic function), brake, bearings and bushings: 2 years.
- Controller, charger, harnesses and other electrical parts: 2 years.
- Lithium-ion battery (25.6 V, 11.7 Ah): 2 years limited.
- Excludes wear items (shrouds, motor brushes, upholstery and seating, brake pads, tires and tubes, fuses and bulbs), abuse, misuse and non-Pride parts.
- Labour, service calls and shipping are not covered unless Pride authorizes them in advance. Service is by an authorized Pride provider.
