The Priva Ultra Sheet Protector With Flaps (P12205) is a reusable, four-layer bed pad, 34 by 36 in (86 by 91 cm), with flaps that hold it under the mattress.
What does it do and how does it work?
- Four layers: a quilted top, a high-density 7 oz absorbent core and a vinyl barrier.
- The Vintex Safeguard barrier is Canadian made and certified free of lead, cadmium, mercury and phthalates.
- The flaps tuck under the mattress and hold the pad flat, with no straps.
- It is reusable and machine washable.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
- For restless sleepers, and for loose pads that bunch at the foot of the bed.
- On a chair, use a seat protector; there is nothing to tuck the flaps under.
- For turning someone in bed, choose the handles version (P12605/H).
Will it fit?
- 34 by 36 in (86 by 91 cm) covers the middle of a twin bed.
- Leave slack at the sides so the flaps fold under.
Using it day to day
- Lay it quilted side up, tuck the flaps under, then put the sheet on.
- Machine wash to 40 C (104 F), non-chlorine bleach only, no fabric softener; dry normally, do not iron.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
- It is a bed pad, not a chair pad; a seat has nothing to hold the flaps.
- It is not a slide sheet or lifting aid.
How does it compare?
- The plain Ultra pad (P12605) has the same build without flaps.
- The handles version (P12605/H) adds a grip on each side for turning.

Quilted side up and vinyl barrier down; reversed, fluid cannot reach the absorbent core.
Will the flaps fit a deep mattress?
Measure the mattress depth before ordering; a deep mattress needs longer flaps.
Does it stay in place without straps?
Yes. The flaps hold it flat; there are no straps.
