Article 7500i is the ReTurn7500i platform: a manual stand aid with a standard-height ladder, not a belt.
Who can use the ReTurn7500i?
- An adult who can bear weight while standing, keep balance with support, grasp the handles and follow instructions.
- Short moves on a flat floor: bed, wheelchair, chair or toilet.
- Not a powered lift, and not a floor pickup. Someone who cannot stand needs a different aid.
Will it fit the room?
- Base plate 26.97 in long by 22.44 in wide (685 x 570 mm). Overall height 45.28 in (1150 mm).
- Base plate height is 1.57 in (40 mm). The platform weighs 36.38 lb (16.5 kg).
- Four corner castors are 1.38 in (35 mm). Two centre wheels are 4.92 in (125 mm).
- It splits into chassis and ladder for a car or cupboard.
- Measure the doorway and the turn into the bathroom before you order; a free home assessment helps.
How does a transfer work?
- Set the lower-leg supports about two fingers below the kneecaps; they adjust sideways and in angle.
- Feet go on the marked spots, inside the wheels. Brakes show red when locked and green when free.
- The person leans in, holds the ladder and stands. The carer gives counter-pressure. Do not push on the person.
- The ladder opening is for a ReTurnBelt after the person is standing. The belt is a separate order.
- A ReTurnBelt hooks through this ladder opening. The belt is a separate order and is not a patient-lift sling.
Which other pieces are separate?
- Lower-leg supports on the 7500i come with extra padding. Replacement pads are article 7215.
- The standard ladder is 7501i; 7501 and 7401 are alternatives. Check the serial before you swap one.
- HeelStrap, SupportStraps and the carry bag are accessories, not part of article 7500i.
- Compare powered stand lifts on sit-to-stand lifts, or the wider patient lift range. Belts sit with slings and belts.
Frequently asked questions
Is article 7500i the belt with an opening?
No. 7500i is the whole platform, and the opening is in the ladder so a separate ReTurnBelt can hook on.
Does every transfer need the belt?
No. The ladder can be used on its own, and the belt is added when more support is needed.
Can I put the low ladder on this base?
Ladder 7401 is listed as an alternative part for this model. We check the serial before you swap one.
Can it cross a doorsill?
The instructions limit it to a flat floor and to short moves. A raised sill is a reason to look at the path first.
