- The grey webbing straps loop over the hooks on a patient lift's carry bar.
- Use it only with a lift and carry bar approved for this sling. The sling's own limit is 485 lbs (220 kg).
- The sling, the bar and the lift must each be rated for the person's weight.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
- For a person assessed with good head support and reasonable or good upper-body tone.
- For hygiene and toileting: the enlarged opening gives access, and the foam pads the back and legs.
- For transfers with the arms kept outside the sling.

- Tumble dry on low, no hotter than 50 C.
- Check the straps, stitching and fabric before each use, and stop using the sling at the first sign of wear.

- The lowest-rated part of the lift, bar and sling set sets the safe working load.
- It is not a lifting device on its own; it needs an approved lift and carry bar.
How does it compare?
