The Span Geo-Matt nylon fitted coverlet, part 5001, is the 80 in (203 cm) replacement cover for the Geo-Matt therapeutic foam overlay. The foam is sold separately.
What does it do and how does it work?
It is the fabric top that fits over the overlay, so the person lies on the coverlet rather than on bare foam.

- Choose the 5007 vinyl/nylon zippered cover for a side zip and a fluid barrier.
- Choose a complete Geo-Matt overlay if the foam is worn.
Will it fit?
It fits the 80 in (203 cm) Geo-Matt overlay and nothing shorter.
- The standard Geo-Matt overlay is 33 in (84 cm) wide and 3.5 in (9 cm) high, with a 250 lb (113 kg) limit.
- Measure the foam, not the bed: covers cannot be returned once used.
Using it day to day
Fit it over the foam and smooth it flat before the sheet goes on.
- Replace it when it tears or stops staying on; a torn cover exposes the foam.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
It works with the 80 in Geo-Matt foam overlay only.
- For fluid protection, choose the 5007 zippered cover or a Soft Skin sleeve.
How does it compare?
The 5000 is the same coverlet in 72 in (183 cm). The 5007 zippered cover adds a side zip and a fluid barrier. The complete 50960-458 pairs the 80 in foam with this coverlet.
