Which systems are in the rental fleet?
We rent four alternating pressure systems and match one to what is available on your dates. The written quote names the model before anything is booked.
- Apex Domus 4 (Wellell): 35.5 x 79 x 8 in (90 x 201 x 20 cm); up to 450 lb (204 kg); 10-minute cycle.
- Drive Med-Aire (14027): 36 x 80 x 8 in (91 x 203 x 20 cm); up to 350 lb (159 kg); 10-minute cycle.
- Drive Med-Aire Plus (14029): 36 x 80 x 8 in (91 x 203 x 20 cm); up to 450 lb (204 kg); 10, 15, 20 or 25-minute cycles.
- Blake Medical Salute RDX: 36 x 80 x 8 in (91 x 203 x 20 cm); up to 500 lb (227 kg); 5 to 20-minute cycles.

Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
It suits a person who needs an alternating pressure surface for a limited period, once their care team has chosen this type of mattress.
- A different surface: tell us before booking if the person needs lateral rotation or another surface type.
Will it fit?
Measure the bed before you book. The Domus 4 is 35.5 in (90 cm) wide; the other three are 36 in (91 cm).
- Inside width and length of the bed frame.
- Room at the footboard or beside the bed for the pump, and an outlet within reach of the hose.
- The gap between the mattress and the rails once it is inflated: test the two together, because a thicker surface changes the gap.
- The person's weight: each model has its own limit, listed above.

Using it day to day
Our team delivers the mattress and pump, connects them and shows you the controls.
- Delivery and setup across Toronto and the GTA by our team. Fees may apply. Customer collection and return are not available.
- Keep it running: keep the pump plugged in and the hose clear.
- Return: call us when you are finished and our team collects it.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
- Not included: rails, bedding or a spare pump.
- Power: the alternation stops if the pump loses power.

Frequently asked questions
Can I keep the mattress longer than planned?
There is no maximum rental period. Call before the period ends and we confirm the extension and rate in writing.
Can I ask for the model I use now?
If it is one of the four in our fleet, tell us when you ask for a quote. The written quote names the system we can supply on your dates.
What happens if the pump stops?
Call (905) 798-1853. Our technicians handle repairs during the rental; the cells stop alternating until the pump runs again.
