The Hoyer Comfort padded sling, item NA25506, is the extra-small contoured clip sling for a seated or reclined transfer on a passive Hoyer lift, rated 500 lb (227 kg).
What does it do and how does it work?
Securi3 clips fix it to a 4-point cradle. The padded back rises around the shoulders and head.
- In a chair, feed each leg piece under the thigh and up between the legs, then through the modesty strap.
- Green safety loops must all show before you lift. The pivot handle changes posture.
- On a pad model, do not lift until the Comfort Pad is in place.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
It suits most seated transfers at or under 500 lb (227 kg) on a Presence or a Stature.
- An amputation that needs its own bar: the Comfort amputee sling, small NA1201, plus HOY_AMPUTEE_SB.
- A loop-only classic lift needs a loop sling, not these clips.
- A standing transfer needs a stand-aid sling.
Will it fit?
Extra small only, brown, item NA25506. Its contoured shape suits about 85 to 90 percent of people.
- Small red NA25507, medium yellow NA25508, large green NA25509, extra large blue NA25510. Each is 500 lb (227 kg).
- We confirm whether a Comfort Pad is already on NA25506 before you order.
Using it day to day
Fit it in the chair, or roll the person onto it with a draw-sheet roll.
- Clip on, check the green loops, then lift. Stay beside them. Do not haul on the straps to reposition.
- Machine-wash warm, no bleach, at or below 185 F (85 C). Cool tumble, air, or very low heat. Never dry clean.
- Check the stitching. A bleached, torn, cut, frayed or broken sling is finished. Do not alter it.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
Presence and Stature clip cradles. Passive lifts. Genuine Hoyer parts only.
- Pad NA25516 (standard) and NA25517 (padded) are separate one-size parts, not item NA25506.
- Remain at or under 500 lb (227 kg) and inside the lift rating.
- Hoyer Pro warranty is 12 months for the original owner. A repair or alteration voids it. See the Warranty tab.
Which version should I choose?
NA25506 is extra small. The other four item numbers are the larger colours.
- Choose NA1201 when the plan calls for the amputee spreader bar.
How does it compare?
Keep NA25506 for a padded clip sling. Change when the cradle or the body shape differs.
- The Comfort amputee sling, NA1201, adds the amputee bar at 500 lb (227 kg).
- The Hoyer Access sling, medium NA1603, is a padded loop sling at 500 lb (227 kg).
- The one-piece sling, large 70051, uses a classic loop cradle at 600 lb (272 kg).

Frequently asked questions
Does NA25506 include the Comfort Pad?
Not as a listed part. NA25516 and NA25517 are separate pads. Do not lift a pad model until its pad is in place.
Why do the green loops matter?
A visible green loop means that Securi3 clip is locked. Leave the person down until every loop is showing.
Is the back a head-support panel?
The padded back comes up around the shoulders and head. It is not a separate head-support Comfort item.

Warranty details
Joerns Healthcare warrants the Hoyer Comfort padded sling, extra small NA25506, a Hoyer Pro sling, against defects in materials and workmanship, and replaces a sling that proves defective within the warranty period.
- Sling: 12 months from purchase.
- Covers the original purchaser only.
- A replacement is covered only until the original warranty period ends.
- Joerns may ask for the sling to be returned for inspection, at the customer's expense.
- Excludes normal wear and tear, neglect, wilful damage, unsuitable surroundings and care that does not follow the instructions.
- Any alteration, modification or repair voids the warranty.
