FlexiRail Free Standing Gantry System by HumanCare

The Human Care FlexiRail (90900-250, 90900-300, 90900-350 and 90900-400) is a freestanding overhead rail for a room that cannot take a ceiling track.

What does it do and how does it work?

It holds a ceiling lift over the bed or chair without fixing a rail to the building.

• The frame is white powder-coated aluminum with steel corners. Both posts must be the same height.
• A separate rail roller runs in the rail. The lift, roller, hanger bar and sling are not in the carton.
• The frame is rated 661 lbs (300 kg). A lower rating on the lift, bar or sling is the one that applies.

Who is it for, and who should choose something else?

It is for home or facility care when the ceiling should stay untouched.

• It suits a rental or a ceiling that cannot carry a track. It is not a lift by itself.

Will it fit?

The feet are 47.2 in (120 cm) apart. The span has to clear the bed and the chair.

• 90900-250: 104.3 to 128 in (265 to 325 cm).
• 90900-300: 124 to 147.6 in (315 to 375 cm).
• 90900-350: 143.7 to 167.3 in (365 to 425 cm).
• 90900-400: 163.4 to 187 in (415 to 475 cm).
• Height is 70.9 to 106.3 in (180 to 270 cm). Check lights and fans.
• Optional wheel kit 50872 is 3.9 in (10 cm) high with its plate. Lock all four wheels before a lift.
• We confirm the rail length against the bed, the ceiling height and the lift before you order.

Using it day to day

Two people should assemble it. Do not change the frame while someone is on the lift.

• The carton has the rail, two posts, two feet, levers and a 4 mm Allen key.
• Do not move, transfer or adjust the frame while a person is on the lift.
• Wipe with a damp cloth and dishwashing liquid. Do not flush it.

What does it work with, and what are its limits?

It works with Human Care Altair, HeliQ and Cosmos ceiling lifts. The motor is a separate order.

• Roller, hanger bar and sling are separate. Keep the locking pin secure, on a level indoor floor, within 5 degrees.
• Do not modify the frame. More overhead choices are under patient lifts.

Which version should I choose?

Choose the shortest span that still clears the bed and the chair.

• 90900-250 is the shortest span. 90900-400 is the longest. Wheel kit 50872 is a separate order.

How does it compare?

FlexiRail is the tall floor frame with a separate Human Care lift.

• The Lena gantry is a wider Human Care floor frame in two lengths, and its motor is separate too.
• The Handicare FST-300 is a shorter portable rail rated 300 lbs (136 kg).
• The C-625 bolts to a ceiling track instead of standing on the floor.
