The Orthex Sensia Bamboo Queen is a 10 in (25 cm) foam mattress in a box, 60 x 80 in, in the Firm feel. It is the queen size of Orthex's Sensia Bamboo orthopedic line.
What does it do and how does it work?
It builds support from the bottom up, with a gel-infused memory foam comfort layer on top.
- A high-density polyurethane base carries a Velva high-resilience core.
- The ventilated, gel-infused viscoelastic memory foam top layer is open for airflow.
- Ultra-firm high-density polyurethane edges reinforce the perimeter.
- The bamboo and polyester knit cover is breathable and machine-washable.

It suits a person up to 750 lbs (340 kg) on a queen bed who wants a firm surface.
- Orthex advises a firm feel for back or stomach sleepers, and a semi-firm for side sleepers who want slight sinking.
- Choose the semi-firm queen if you want more give; Orthex sells both.
- Choose the Sensia Waterproof queen for a homecare cover.
Will it fit?
It is a standard queen, 60 x 80 in, and 10 in high.
- Capacity is 750 lbs (340 kg); the lower of that and the bed's safe working load applies.
- Place it on a uniformly firm, even base, and use a mattress protector.
- If the base has rails, Health Canada advises gaps under 120 mm (4 3/4 in) in zones 1 to 3 and 60 mm (2 3/8 in) in zone 4.
- A used mattress cannot be returned under our return policy.
Using it day to day
Allow 2 to 4 weeks to adapt to the new firmness.
- Rotate it head to toe about every 3 months to spread the wear.
- Machine wash the cover; spot clean stains or remove the cover for dry cleaning.
- There is no pump, hose or power cord.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
It fits a queen bed or adjustable base with a firm, even surface.
- It is a foam comfort mattress, not a powered pressure-relief surface.
- It is a queen household size, not a hospital-bed size.
- It is not for a bed whose safe working load is below 750 lbs (340 kg).

Orthex Canada warrants the Sensia Bamboo mattress for ten years from the date of purchase against manufacturing or component defects.
- Mattress: 10 years from purchase.
- When Orthex approves a claim, it replaces the mattress with the same model or an equivalent.
- Warranty claims go directly to Orthex by email or phone.
