- It needs a uniformly firm base; a soft or sagging foundation is not suitable.
- The 450 lbs (204 kg) rating is the mattress limit; the bed frame's own safe working load applies if it is lower.

Orthex Canada warrants the Sensia Bamboo mattress for ten years from the date of purchase against manufacturing or component defects.
- Mattress: 10 years from purchase.
- When Orthex approves a claim, it replaces the mattress with the same model or an equivalent.
