- Width is 36.22 in (92 cm) without rails and 38.58 in (98 cm) with them. Overall length is 87.99 in (223 cm).
- The package ships in two cartons and the three motors are pre-installed on the foot section. The foot carton is 101 lb (46 kg).
Rails, power and day-to-day limits
- Half rails 15201BV are included. Full rails 15001ABV are another package. Drive says to use its own rails.
- The gaps between a rail and the mattress decide safe use, not the rail model. Health Canada publishes home-bed rail guidance, and whether rails suit this person is a care-team decision.
- Drive says auto-contour, which raises the head and foot together, may help prevent sacral shearing.
- No battery. In a power cut, use the hi/lo crank and the sleep-surface crank, then take the hi/lo crank off before use.
- Drive says leave the bed at its lowest except during care, to reduce the risk of injury from a fall.

Can a child use the hand pendant?
No. Drive says children should not operate this bed, nor anyone who cannot follow the manual.
What if a pendant button sticks?
Unplug the bed and leave it unused. Drive says a stuck button will not stop that motor.

The caster setting is chosen at delivery. Tell us whether you need roll-at-low-height or roll-at-any-height.

Drive Medical warrants the full electric low height bed (15005LP) in this package to the original purchaser. During the warranty period, Drive repairs or replaces defective items at its option at no charge.
