Description
The Hoyer Comfort mesh sling, small NA25512, is a clip sling rated 500 lb (227 kg) for passive lifts. Medium, large and extra large are also available here.
What does it do and how does it work?
It is a contoured mesh sling for about 85 to 90 percent of clients, used from a chair or from lying down, on a 4-point Hoyer cradle.
- From a chair, feed each leg piece under and up between the legs, then through the modesty strap. Bring the rear up around the shoulders and head.
- From lying, roll the person onto the sling so the top of the opening is at the base of the spine.
- Securi3 clips connect it to the 4-point cradle. All green safety loops must be visible before the lift.
- Small NA25512 is red. Medium NA25513 is yellow. Large NA25514 is green. Extra large NA25515 is blue.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
It is for a person on a passive Hoyer clip lift who needs a mesh Comfort sling.
- Choose the polyester Comfort sling when you want the same cut in polyester, including an extra small.
- Choose the padded Comfort sling, NA25506 to NA25510, for a padded fabric.
- Someone who can stand should look at a sit-to-stand lift.
Will it fit?
Mesh sizes run from small to extra large.
- Mesh Comfort has no extra-small code. Extra small is on the polyester Comfort sling.

Using it day to day
Check the mesh and the stitching before every use. Discard the sling if it is bleached, torn, cut, frayed or broken.
- Wash on warm, no hotter than 185 F (85 C), with no bleach. Dry on a cool tumble or hang it. Do not dry clean.
- A push on the cradle pivot handle changes posture.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
Use a Hoyer clip cradle on the Presence or the Stature.
- Do not hang it on another maker's lift. This sling stops at 500 lb (227 kg), and the lower limit of the sling or the lift applies.
- NA25512 has no Comfort Pad. Models that lift with a pad are a different item.
Which version should I choose?
Small red NA25512 is the smallest mesh Comfort size.
- Medium is NA25513, large is NA25514, and extra large is NA25515.
- Polyester Comfort codes run from NA25501. Padded codes run from NA25506.
How does it compare?
The polyester Comfort is the same clip shape in a solid fabric, with an extra small.
- The padded Comfort is the padded fabric; a model with a Comfort Pad needs item NA25516 in place.

Frequently asked questions
Does a lift come with NA25512?
No. This is the mesh sling only. The lift and the cradle are separate.
Are these loop straps?
No. Comfort mesh uses Securi3 clips. A loop cradle will not take them.
Does the mesh size include a Comfort Pad?
No. The pad is a separate piece, item NA25516, for models built to use it.
Can the person be left alone in the sling?
No. Do not leave the person unattended while they are in the sling.

Warranty details
Joerns Healthcare warrants the Hoyer Comfort mesh sling, small NA25512, a Hoyer Pro sling, against defects in materials and workmanship, and replaces a sling that proves defective within the warranty period.
- Sling: 12 months from purchase.
- Covers the original purchaser only.
- A replacement is covered only until the original warranty period ends.
- Joerns may ask for the sling to be returned for inspection, at the customer's expense.
- Excludes normal wear and tear, neglect, wilful damage, unsuitable surroundings and care that does not follow the instructions.
- Any alteration, modification or repair voids the warranty.
