Description
The Hoyer Comfort sling is the polyester clip model, rated 500 lb (227 kg), in five sizes from extra small to extra large, for passive lifts.
What does it do and how does it work?
It is a contoured polyester sling for about 85 to 90 percent of clients, from a chair or from lying down, on a 4-point Hoyer cradle.
- From a chair, feed each leg piece under and up between the legs, then through the modesty strap. Bring the rear up around the shoulders and head.
- From lying, roll the person on so the top of the opening is at the base of the spine.
- Securi3 clips lock onto the 4-point cradle. Every green safety loop must show before you lift.
- Extra small NA25501 is brown. Small NA25502 is red. Medium NA25503 is yellow. Large NA25504 is green. Extra large NA25505 is blue.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
It is for a person on a passive Hoyer clip lift who needs the polyester Comfort sling.
- Choose the Comfort mesh sling for the same cut in mesh. Mesh starts at small, with no extra small.
- Choose the padded Comfort sling, NA25506 to NA25510, for a padded fabric.
- A person who can stand needs a sit-to-stand lift.
Will it fit?
Sizes run from extra small to extra large. Weight is only a starting point.

Using it day to day
Check the fabric and the stitching before every use. Discard the sling if it is bleached, torn, cut, frayed or broken.
- Warm machine wash, 185 F (85 C) at most. Skip bleach and dry cleaning. Tumble on cool or air dry.
- Press the cradle pivot handle to change posture.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
Use a Hoyer clip cradle on the Presence or the Stature.
- Do not mix this sling with another maker's lift. The load stops at 500 lb (227 kg), or at the lift's lower limit.
- The Comfort Pad is not part of these polyester codes. A model that takes one must not be lifted without the pad in place.
Which version should I choose?
Pick the size by colour: brown, red, yellow, green, then blue.
- NA25501 through NA25505 are this polyester run. Mesh codes start at NA25512. Padded codes start at NA25506.
- The separate pad is item NA25516, one size, for models built to take it.
How does it compare?
The mesh Comfort is the net version of this clip sling, without an extra small.
- The padded Comfort is the padded fabric; a model with a Comfort Pad needs item NA25516 in place before the lift.

Frequently asked questions
Does a lift come with the polyester Comfort sling?
No. The sling is sold on its own. The lift and the cradle are separate.
Will loop straps on a 2-point bar take this sling?
No. These are Securi3 clips for a 4-point Hoyer cradle.
Is the Comfort Pad in the box?
No. NA25501 to NA25505 do not include it. The pad is item NA25516.
Can I leave the person hanging while I step away?
No. Stay with the person. Do not leave them unattended in the sling.

Warranty details
Joerns Healthcare warrants the Hoyer Comfort polyester clip sling (NA25501 to NA25505), a Hoyer Pro sling, against defects in materials and workmanship, and replaces a sling that proves defective within the warranty period.
- Sling: 12 months from purchase.
- Covers the original purchaser only.
- A replacement is covered only until the original warranty period ends.
- Joerns may ask for the sling to be returned for inspection, at the customer's expense.
- Excludes normal wear and tear, neglect, wilful damage, unsuitable surroundings and care that does not follow the instructions.
- Any alteration, modification or repair voids the warranty.
