Description
The Totstander is Leckey's simple upright standing frame on a wooden base, for a young child from about 1 to 5 years and up to 48 lb (22 kg). It supports active standing, movement and weight shifting.
What does it do and how does it work?
The child stands on the base with a soft chest band across the chest and sandals on the feet.
- Chest band: flexible, adjustable from 18.5 to 25.1 in (470 to 640 mm).
- Knee supports: hold the knees steady.
- Sandals: floor-level and adjustable.
- Base: wooden, 17.7 x 17.7 in (450 x 450 mm).
- Fabric: Meadow.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
It suits a young child starting to stand, and a therapist assessing ability.

Using it day to day
Set the chest band and sandals, then secure the harnesses with the child in.
- Lock the castors and use it indoors on a level surface; never on a slope over 5 degrees.
- Do not change the overall height while the child is in the frame.
- Never leave the child unattended; check the harnesses, knobs and bolts daily.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
It is an indoor standing frame, not a mobility device.
- Heat and choking: keep it from flames and heaters; tighten knobs and bolts within reach.
- Cleaning: non-abrasive cleaner and a moist cloth; no running water or power washer.

The sandals sit at floor level, so the child stands on the base, not the room floor.

- Applies only when the product is used for its intended purpose, under the stated conditions and following Leckey's instructions.
- Any modification to the product voids the warranty.
