Description
The Harmony Relax Plush Twin XL, part PLUSHTXL, is one 10 in (25 cm) foam mattress from Harmony's Canadian-made Relax line. It is a single piece with no transfer edge.
What does it do and how does it work?
It uses the same three-layer stack as the Firm, with the Plush feel.
- The 2 in (5 cm) GelFlex top is made to regulate temperature.
- The 2 in (5 cm) middle layer is firmer and rebounds.
- The 6 in (15 cm) core is designed to contour with the Harmony adjustable base.
- The firm surface supports transfers and turning.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
It suits one person up to 350 lbs (159 kg) on a Twin XL deck who prefers the Plush feel.
- Choose the Firm for the other named feel at the same size.
- Choose the transfer-edge Plush if the bed needs one; it is a separate product.
- Choose the Relax XC above 350 lbs (159 kg).
Will it fit?
Check the deck length: this mattress is 79.5 in long.
- It measures 38 x 79.5 x 10 in (97 x 202 x 25 cm).
- The Harmony Hi-Low Twin XL deck is 38 x 80, so the mattress sits half an inch short.
- Capacity is 350 lbs (159 kg); the lower of that and the bed's safe working load applies.
- The 10 in (25 cm) height changes rail height. Health Canada advises gaps under 120 mm (4 3/4 in) in zones 1 to 3 and 60 mm (2 3/8 in) in zone 4.
- A used mattress cannot be returned under our return policy.
Using it day to day
Place it on the deck or adjustable base and make the bed as usual.
- There is no pump, hose or power cord.
- The core is made to work with the Harmony adjustable base.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
It fits a Twin XL deck or adjustable base.
- It has no transfer edge; the transfer-edge version is separate.
- It is one piece; a split king needs two.
- It is not for a user above 350 lbs (159 kg).
How does it compare?
The multi-size Firm page covers Full, Full XL, Queen and King. The Harmony Home Care Twin XL is 80 in long and 7 in high. The Relax XC is the 600 lbs version. See foam mattresses.
