M921500 is the Silvalea Universal sling with arched head support, a full-body mesh sling for general transfers. It comes in six sizes, and the safe working load is 600 lbs (272 kg).
What does it do?
- The padded head support is integral and adjusts to cradle the head.
- Divided padded leg sections support each thigh, and a small opening gives hygiene access.
- Colour-coded loops show where each strap goes on the bar.
- The open-weave polyester mesh dries quickly and suits bathing.

- A person with limited body control, limited head control, or limited head, trunk and hip control who needs a general transfer.
- It is a loop sling. Never put loop straps on a stud bar.

- Each size has body ranges on the fit sheet; a clinician or fitter takes the measurements.

How is it fitted?
- Place the sling behind the person, label outward, and glide it down the back.
- Bring each leg section under its thigh and up between the legs, without twisting.
- Pass one leg strap through the other so the legs do not abduct.
- Attach the shoulder loops, then the leg loops, using the colours for position.
- Adjust the head support strap until it cradles the head.
- Lower the person back to adjust comfort before the full transfer.
Care and checks
- Wash at 203 F (95 C), tumble dry low at 50 C maximum, and do not iron.
- Close hook-and-loop fastenings before washing, and use a non-biological detergent.
- Check the straps, mesh and label before each use, and remove a frayed or illegible sling.
- Confirm the lift and sling safe working loads match.
