A door opens at the foot of our stairs. Can we still have one?
Yes, usually: a manual flip-up rail clears a door at the bottom, and rail-extension brackets one at the top. With either, the K2 is rated 300 lb.
Does the K2 work in a power cut?
Yes, for several trips, Savaria says. It charges at both ends of the stairs, or all along the rail as an option.
