The Drive Deluxe 3 Wheel Rollator is the aluminium three-wheel rollator from Drive Medical, sold in Flame Blue (10289BL) and Flame Red (10289RD).
What does it do and how does it work?
- The aluminium trombone frame pulls open and locks with a knob, and folds with one hand.
- A loop-lock handle on each side works like a bicycle brake: pull it up to slow down, push it down to park, and pull it up again to release the parking lock.
- One front swivel caster and two rear wheels, all 7.5 in, roll indoors and out.
- A tray, a wire basket and a pouch come standard, and the basket folds flat.
- The handles adjust with a self-threading knob.
- It weighs 14 lb (6.4 kg) and carries up to 300 lb (136 kg).
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
- It suits someone who walks with a rollator and wants a three-wheel frame that turns in a small space.
- There is no seat and no backrest: never sit on it or transport a seated person.
- For a rest seat, a four-wheel rollator has one.
Will it fit?
- The handles adjust from 31 to 38 in (79 to 97 cm); set them at wrist height.
- It is 24.7 in (63 cm) wide overall and 19.7 in (50 cm) between the handles; measure the narrowest doorway and the bathroom door you use most.

Using it day to day
- Open the frame, lock the knob and mount the basket above the pouch, between the handles.
- Test and adjust the loop-lock tension before the first walk.
- Pull a handle up to brake, push it down to park and pull it up to release.
- To fold, lift off the basket, pull the black locking handle back until the hinge releases, then push the sides together until flat.
- Use it on firm, level surfaces indoors and out.

- Excludes non-durable parts that wear and need periodic replacement, such as rubber accessories, casters and grips.
- Excludes failure caused by owner misuse or negligence, and normal wear and tear.
