The Interstate DCM0055 is a 12 V 55 Ah sealed AGM battery in the deep cycle mobility line, Group 22NF with reversed terminals and an M6 insert.
Which power chairs and scooters does this battery fit?
Use it where the chair maker specifies two 12 V Group 22NF batteries and AGM is allowed, and where the cables match reversed terminals.
- Pride Jazzy 614, 614 HD, Elite HD: Interstate Also Fits lists Jazzy 614, Jazzy 614 HD and Jazzy Elite HD for the DCM0055.
- Quantum 614: Interstate Also Fits lists Quantum 614.
- Quantum Q6 Edge 2.0 and Q6 Edge 3: Quantum specifies Group 22NF on these chairs. Interstate's Also Fits list does not name them.
- Quantum Q6 Edge 3 Stretto: The Stretto is offered as 40 Ah or 55 Ah NF-22. This 55 Ah battery matches only the 55 Ah setup. The 40 Ah setup is a different battery.
Pride Maxima's gel pack is a different battery.
Which devices or parts do not fit?
- Fortress 1700 and the Fortress 1700 4-wheel: Sunrise requires gel. Use a gel Group 22NF, not this AGM.
- Pride Pursuit ES and the Pursuit XL: current Pursuit chairs are Group 24, or Group 24 and 27 on the XL.
- Q6 Edge HD, 4Front 2 and Quickie Q700M: Group 24 or 34, not 22NF.
- The gel part in this case family is the GEL0055. The general purpose flag-terminal part is the SLA1165. Neither is a substitute until the label matches.
What must match the old battery?
- Match 12 V, 55 Ah, AGM and Group 22NF on the old label.
- Match its M6 inserts and reversed terminal positions so the cables reach.
- Measure the old case, including terminals, against 8.90 x 5.31 x 8.15 in. We confirm the size before you order.
How many and how should they be charged?
Buy two DCM0055 batteries when both boxes are this group and this chemistry. Do not mix AGM with gel, and do not leave an old battery beside a new one.
Frequently asked questions
Will this fit a Fortress 1700?
No. Sunrise requires gel in the Fortress 1700, and the box has a maximum size. This DCM0055 is AGM.
Is the DCM0055 the same as a gel 22NF?
No. DCM0055 is AGM; GEL0055 is gel. Do not mix them or substitute AGM in a gel-only chair.
My old battery is marked DCM0055U. Is it the same part?
No. The 2018 Interstate table lists the U version with a UT terminal, and this DCM0055 uses an M6 insert. Check the terminal on the battery you remove.
