Excellent quality mattress for medical use. It’s easy to clean, and the air pump is reliable. My father feels much more comfortable now.
After doing some research, we decided to go with the Nexus 3 Walker for my father. It’s been great for his balance and mobility, and he loves the seat for when he needs to rest. The only downside is that the walker feels slightly heavy when folded, but...
My sister was skeptical about switching mattresses, but the Halsa Bed changed her mind quickly. She’s been sleeping longer and better, and even her mood has improved. The delivery delay was frustrating, but seeing her so happy makes it worth it.
I recently purchased the Drive Patient Lift from Mobility Specialties, and I couldn’t be happier with both the product and the service. The staff at Mobility Specialties were incredibly helpful, guiding me through the options and ensuring I chose the right...
We’ve been using this mattress for my mother, and it’s been excellent. The Domus 4 Mattress is comfortable and easy to use. The controls are straightforward, but I wish the pump came with a quieter mode for nighttime use.
We got the Harmony Lite Bed for my dad, and it's been a blessing. It’s sturdy and comfy, but assembly was a bit tricky for us. Overall, really happy with the purchase. Would recommend!
Does ADP help pay for mobility equipment?
Yes, for eligible Ontario residents. The Assistive Devices Program may pay up to 75% of the approved price of eligible manual and power wheelchairs, approved scooters, wheelchair seating and wheeled walkers. An ADP authorizer, usually an occupational or physical therapist, assesses you first. We're an ADP registered vendor and prepare the quote and forms.
Does ADP cover stairlifts or hospital beds?
No. ADP does not fund stairlifts, hospital beds, mattresses, patient lifts, ramps or bath aids. Other routes may help, such as the March of Dimes Home and Vehicle Modification Program, the Home Accessibility Tax Credit or private insurance. Our funding finder shows what may fit.
Can I try equipment before I buy?
Yes. Our showrooms in Etobicoke and Brampton have power chairs, scooters, lift chairs and beds to try. For stairlifts, ramps and bathroom changes we come to your home for a free assessment.
How much does a stairlift cost?
Straight stairlifts typically cost $2,500 to $5,000, and curved stairlifts $8,000 to $15,000, depending on the staircase. We measure for free and give you a written price.
Can I rent instead of buying?
Yes. Hospital beds, patient lifts, wheelchairs and more can be rented by the week or month, delivered and set up. Call us for current rates.
Which areas do you serve?
The Greater Toronto Area. Visit our showrooms in Etobicoke and Brampton, or we come to your home for assessments, delivery and set-up.
