Savaria M Series Ceiling Lift - Lithium Ion

The Savaria M-Series Clinical ceiling lift is a fixed lithium-ion motor for overhead transfers on an installed track in a home or a clinic.

What does it do and how does it work?

It rides a ceiling track and lifts with a strap.

• Three loads: 286 lbs (130 kg), 440 lbs (200 kg) or 600 lbs (272 kg).
• Manual traverse, or powered traverse with 3 speeds up to 11.8 in/s (30 cm/s).
• The strap has an antimicrobial coating and a no-fray route.
• An emergency stop and powered emergency lowering are on the lift.
• The battery is lithium-ion, 25.2 V, 2500 mAh. A full charge from empty takes about 2 hours. A short charge takes about 30 minutes.

Who is it for, and who should choose something else?

It is for a person who transfers overhead once the track and the room have been assessed.

• It suits home care and clinical rooms with a compatible track.
• The M-Series Bariatric lift is the one for 800, 1,000 or 1,200 lbs.
• Choose a floor gantry when the ceiling cannot carry a track.

Will it fit?

The motor body is 13 in long, 11.75 in wide and 7 in high (33 by 30 by 18 cm).

• Strap travel is 90.5 in (230 cm).
• A manual 4-point bar leaves about 16 in (41 cm) of clearance. A manual 2-point bar leaves about 14 in (36 cm).
• The motor weighs 13.9 lbs (6.3 kg) with manual traverse, or 18.3 lbs (8.3 kg) with powered traverse.
• We confirm the load and manual or powered travel before you order.

Using it day to day

An authorized Savaria dealer installs the motor and the track.

• Charge in the track or at the end stop. Return to charge is a Clinical option.
• One charge, each lift 24 in (61 cm): about 80 at 200 lbs (91 kg), 70 at 286 lbs, 45 at 440 lbs, and 30 at 600 lbs.
• A digital hand control is IPX7. A manual hand control is IPX6. The lift is at most 54 dBA.
• Expected service life is 10 years. The warranty is 3 years, including the battery. See warranty.

What does it work with, and what are its limits?

It needs a track, a carry bar and a sling. Those parts are not in the motor carton.

• The lowest rated part sets the load, even when the motor is 600 lbs (272 kg).
• Do not modify the lift. More motors and frames are under patient lifts.

Which version should I choose?

Pick the load first, then manual or powered travel.

• A scale bar, return to charge, and Wi-Fi are options. They are not on every unit.

How does it compare?

Choose this motor when the track is in the ceiling and the load is 600 lbs or less.
