Description
This is the charge point on a ceiling lift track. The lift is parked at the station when it is not in use, and the connection there keeps the battery topped up between transfers.
One reading catches carers out: while a lift sits at a station, or in a track with charging built in, the battery level shows full, so the display is not a fuel gauge at that moment.
A lift will not charge with the red emergency stop cord pulled, and an automatic return gives up after a few minutes if the station is off or not found.
A technician checks its charging contact. Tell us your lift model, track and serial number and we will confirm the station suits your system. Find the station in spare parts, and arrange the fitting through our service team. Funding may help: see who may help pay.
