Description
Charging happens where the lift meets its station, and this board is the lift's side of that connection. When the contact there does not work, a lift may fail to find its station or fail to take a charge.
Where an automatic return does not work, the maker sends the work to a technician, who checks that the contact station sits on the correct side of the track and that both it and the board contact work properly. The same check covers the magnet kit and the home sensor at the end of the track.
The board sits inside the lift, so the fitting is technician work as well.
