Description
This is the charger the maker supplies with its ceiling lifts, ordered under the maker's charger code M920001. The indicator light reports what the charger is doing: charging, fully charged, disconnected or a wrong plugging sequence.
Savaria warns that only the charger supplied with the lift may be used, because another charger can damage the batteries or cause fire or injury. The charger takes 100-240 VAC and brings a low battery to full in about 2 hours, and a lift whose red emergency stop cord is pulled will not charge at all.
Charging is electrical work, so a technician fits and checks the charger, and a charger with a damaged cord or enclosure must not be used. Chargers are sold through spare parts, and a technician visit is booked as service. Funding may help: see who may help pay.
