Description
The cover is the outer face of the lift, the surface a carer sees and the part that takes the knocks of daily transfers. Check it for damage as part of routine care, and replace a cracked or loose cover rather than tape over it, so the lift body underneath stays closed.
The cover fits over a casing that must not be opened by anyone other than an authorized dealer, so a technician fits the replacement and checks the lift while it is open.
