Description
The membrane is the flat panel of buttons on the lift. A carer presses the up and down arrows to raise and lower the strap, and the indicator beside them shows the battery level. The lift sleeps after a few seconds without a press, and any button wakes it again.
If the lift will not move, check the power switch is on and the battery is charged, then switch the lift off for a few seconds and back on to reset it. When a panel has stopped responding, the replacement is inside the casing, so a technician fits it.
Send us the lift model and serial number and we will confirm the membrane for your lift. The membrane comes from spare parts, and the fitting is done on a service visit. Funding may help: see who may help pay.
