Description
The bathroom floor sits lower than the tub, and that gap is what makes stepping in hard. The PCP 7100 is a rustproof step that shortens the lift, and it adjusts through three settings.
Set it at 9, 10 or 11 inches, so the step lands where the stride wants it. The padded top measures 14 inches by 11 inches and the base spreads to 18 inches by 14 inches.
Staying put in a wet bathroom
The top is a molded pad with a non-slip finish, which is comfortable on bare feet. The four feet are rubber suction tips that grip a tiled floor without marking it, and PCP rates the step to 300 lb (136 kg). Nothing on the frame rusts, so a wet floor is no problem.
Putting it together
It arrives in pieces and needs some assembly. The maker's instruction sheet has the frame screwing to the underside of the step with the five screws and washers supplied, and the four legs pushing into the frame ends.
