Description
The Drive Adjustable Height rollator is a four-wheel walker with a padded seat and backrest for anyone who can walk but tires partway. Drive rates the frame to 300 lb.
Who it suits
- The padded seat and the backrest are why you would pick this over a plain walker.
- Drive fits 6 in casters with soft-grip tyres and says they suit indoor and outdoor use. It gives no rating for gravel or grass.
- Not for pushing a seated person. Drive's manual calls it a walking aid only, "not to be used as a transportation device". A transport chair rollator is the model for that.
Will it fit you?
- Seat height runs 18 in to 22 in off the floor in 1 in steps. Measure to the crease behind the knee and pick the nearest step.
- Handles run 29.5 in to 38 in, both knobs set at equal heights; test the stability before putting full weight on the grips.
- Seat 13 in wide by 12 in deep, 17 in between the handles, 14 lb in all. Our free home assessment checks the doorway first.
Brakes, seat and care
- Loop locks on both handles. Drive says to test them: locked, the bar on each rear wheel should stop it turning.
- Lock both loop locks before sitting, and never sit on the seat on a slope or uneven ground.
- Wipe the padded seat and backrest with a mild cleaner, and replace the tyres once they are worn.
Colour and alternatives

What if a wheel turns while the loop lock is on?
Drive says to take it to the dealer for adjustment and not to rely on that brake until it holds.
Does the tote under the seat come with it?
Drive's parts list carries a tote as part 9505W1026120 and its photos show it fitted. Ask us to confirm what the current carton holds before you order.
Does it arrive ready to use?
No. Drive's manual has you fit the leg assemblies, handle tubes and backrest. We build it and check the brakes first.
Can I stand it up folded?
The frame folds at the hinge under the seat, but the maker publishes no folded size, so we cannot promise it stands alone.
