Description
The grip sits forward of the shaft. That offset puts the hand over the tip more easily than a round grip that stacks straight above the tube. Walk a few steps indoors and notice whether the wrist stays neutral.
The etched scale is the look of the tube, not a height ruler. Height changes only when you press the button and choose another hole. After it clicks, snug the lock-nut so the button does not buzz while the cane is in use.
Drive recommends this cane for people up to 6 ft 6 in. That note is about the user, not a printed minimum and maximum handle height. If you are near that height, have someone check that the elbow stays softly bent.
The strap loops the wrist so the cane stays with you if the foam slips. It is not a shoulder strap. Change the tip when the tread is smooth. This page is one black cane. Other walking aids, including rollators, are separate products.
Funding may help: see who may help pay. A free home assessment can check the height at home. Related parts are on cane accessories. Write through contact us to ask for a quote.
Frequently asked questions
Does the etched pattern show the height?
No. The pattern is decorative. Count the hole the button sits in, and judge the height by where the grip meets the wrist, not by the etching.
How should the strap sit?
Loop it around the wrist before you take a step. It keeps the cane from dropping if you open your hand. It is not there to carry the cane over a shoulder.
Can I order a second colour here?
No. This listing is the black cane only. If you want a different finish, ask us for that item number rather than assuming this page covers it.
Why ask for a quote?
We are not publishing a selling price on this page. Contact the team and we will quote this cane. Do not treat another seller's number as ours.
