Description

Four feet stay down together, so the cane can stand when you let go on a flat floor. The base on this item is the small K shape. A wide base is a different cane and is not part of this page.

Turn the base and lock it so the long side matches the hand you will use, left or right. The lock should be tight before you put weight through the grip. If the base spins while you walk, stop and reset it.

Eleven button holes set the height. Drive says that spread fits most people from 5 ft to 6 ft 5 in. Pick the hole that brings the cushion grip level with the wrist while you stand straight, with the elbow softly bent.

A short strap with a reflective patch hangs from the grip so you can be seen in low light. The cane does not fold. If you need a seat between stops, look at rollators rather than adding a seat this cane does not have.

Funding may help: see who may help pay. A free home assessment can check which hand and which hole suit your home. Other cane parts are under cane accessories. Ask for a quote through contact us.

Frequently asked questions

Will it stand on a slope?

The four feet need a reasonably flat floor. A ramp or a thick rug can rock the base. Test it where you will actually leave it standing before you rely on it.

How do I choose left or right?

Set the long side of the base so it supports the hand you hold the cane in. Lock that position. Switching hands later means unlocking the base and turning it, not buying a second cane.

Is the wide base included?

No. This page is the small base only, in black. A larger footprint is another item. Tell us if you need more room between the feet and we will point you to that cane.

How do I get a price?

This page stays a quote until we confirm a cost. Contact us with the item number and we will price it. Do not treat another shop's figure as our selling price.
