Description

The Airgo eXcursion is a side-folding rollator with a padded seat, a backrest, hand brakes and 8 in wheels, in three seat heights.

Who it suits

  • Someone who walks with support and sits down partway: every size carries up to 300 lb (136 kg) on a 17.5 in by 10 in seat.
  • Anyone lifting it in and out of a car: 15.5 lb (7 kg) in X18, 19.4 lb (8.8 kg) in X20 and X23, folded by one strap.
  • Not for a user who needs pushing: you steer it yourself.

Will it fit you?

  • X18 (700-927): seat 18 in off the floor, handles 29.5-35 in. X20 (700-920): 20 in and 30.5-37 in. X23 (700-917): 23 in and 33.5-39.5 in.
  • Drive's method: stand upright and set each grip level with your wrist. Our free home assessment does that.
  • Drive publishes no overall width and no folded size, so measure your doorway and boot.

Seat, brakes and basket

  • Squeeze a handle to slow down, press it down until it clicks to park, pull it back up to release. Lock both before you sit.
  • Adjustment is tool-free: push the knob on the lever down and turn it, clockwise to loosen, counter-clockwise to tighten.
  • The seat and backrest take the weight between rests. The soft basket clips to mounts at the back and folds with the frame.

Folding and safe use

  • Pull the strap on the seat, fold the frame and clip it shut; press down on the seat supports to open it until the lock clicks.
  • Drive's instructions say not to use it folded, not to sit on a slope, not to lean or steer while seated, and not to use the seat before the backrest is fitted.

Colours and alternatives

The colours follow the size: X18 in Cranberry, X20 in Cranberry, Eggplant, Pacific Blue or Pearl Black, X23 in Black or Blue. The range sits on our four-wheel rollator page; heavier frames are on the heavy-duty page.

Frequently asked questions

Is the soft basket included?

Yes. The maker also sells it as spare C23-00053.

What wears out first?

The tyres and the brake cables. Casters, the rear wheel pair, the brake cable assembly (B01-181) and the seat are sold separately.

Does it stand on its own when folded?

Drive publishes no folded size and no stand. The clip holds it shut while you lift it.
