Description
Slide the worn sponge off the metal neck and press this arch on until it sits fully home. Work it on by hand. A blade or a pliers jaw can cut the grip and leave a loose fit.
The shape is an arch, not a straight sleeve. If the old grip is a straight bar, this is the wrong spare. Forcing it on will not make the neck safe to lean on.
A tight start is common. Twist a little at a time. If it will not start, compare the metal insert with the cane neck and stop before you tear the grip.
Funding may help: see who may help pay. Other cane parts are on cane accessories. The wider range of aids is under walking aids. Questions go through contact us.
Frequently asked questions
What if it feels too tight to start?
Warm the grip in your hands and twist, do not hammer it. If the metal insert and the cane neck are different shapes, this is the wrong spare. Stop before you tear it.
Will a straight grip fit this cane?
No. A straight sleeve belongs on a different handle. Match the arch you took off. Mixing the two shapes leaves a grip that can spin when you lean.
How do I ask for a price?
This page is a quote. Contact us with the item number. We will not guess a selling price from another shop's shelf.
