Description
The DCM0075 is Interstate's deep cycle mobility battery in AGM, at 12 V and 75 Ah on the 20-hour rate, in the Group 24 case. It replaces a tired Group 24 AGM in a power chair or scooter and brings the range back.
AGM or gel?
This one is AGM. Some chairs are built for gel only, and Quantum's Q6 Edge HD order form lists gel cells, so an AGM battery is the wrong part for that chair. Check the battery option on your own chair's order form or owner's manual, and never mix AGM with gel in one chair.
Which chairs take a Group 24 AGM?
Group 24 is a common case for mid and rear wheel drive chairs. Quantum's 4Front 2 order form specifies a Group 24 AGM battery, two of them, under its own part number and brand. Whichever document you check, the terminal and the brand the chair was built around have to match.
Fitting and caring for it
- Terminal: M6 insert, threaded. The DCM0075U is the post-terminal version of the same case, so look at your old battery before ordering.
- Size: 10.20 x 6.61 x 8.19 in, and 8.43 in over the terminals, at 50.27 lb each.
- Charging: the chair's own charger, on the AGM setting where the charger offers one.
- Replace the pair together, and never put an old battery beside a new one.
- Warranty: Interstate covers DCM mobility batteries with 12 months of free replacement for the original buyer from a Canadian dealer.

Is the price for one battery or two?
One. Every price on this page is for a single battery.
Would a bigger battery give me more range?
Only if your chair's maker allows it, because a larger battery still has to fit the box and match the terminal and the chemistry.
Can I take it on a plane?
Interstate's safety data sheet says this sealed AGM battery is not regulated for transport, but the airline still decides, so ask before you fly.
