Description
Drive's premium plastic raised toilet seat, item 12014, adds 4.5" (11.4 cm) to the toilet and locks onto the bowl with a knob at the front. It has no arms, so nothing blocks a sideways transfer. It suits someone who can sit and stand but finds a standard toilet too low.
Will it fit your toilet?
The maker says it fits most elongated toilets. The rear wings sit around the rim and the front bracket clamps under it, so the bracket has to clear the rim; some bowls need the existing seat off first. Send a photo of the bowl or book a free home assessment and we will confirm.
How do you install it?
Lift the lid, set the rear wings over the rim, check the seat sits centred, then tighten the front knob by hand. Use no tools, because they strip the thread.
How do you clean it?
Wipe it with a mild non-abrasive cleaner and warm water, then rinse and dry it. An abrasive cleaner or cloth damages the surface.
What are the limits?
The maker rates it at 300 lbs (136 kg) for sitting, with your weight kept centred over the seat. Anyone who needs help should be supervised, and a seat that will not tighten securely should not be used.
Which version do you need?
This is the arm-free seat. The armed version is the Drive raised seat with arms, item 12013, which adds 5" and leaves a 21" gap. Both are rated 300 lbs. More rails and seats sit under raised toilet seats.

Funding may help: see who may help pay. Bathroom equipment is bought privately in most cases, and most programs need approval first. Call (905) 798-1853.
Delivery and returns
