Description
This is the Gemino 30 Parkinson, not the standard Gemino 30 and not the forearm walker. Item 7100070 is the taller frame. Item 7100270 is the 30 M frame. Both are silver grey.
Brakes
Squeeze both levers to move. When you release them, the rollator stops. That is the reverse brake Sunrise fits on this model. Set the parking brake before you sit, as the manual requires.
A slowdown brake is already on the frame. It adds resistance so the rollator does not run ahead of you, including on a downslope. The amount of resistance can be adjusted.
The green line
A button on the handle turns on a green line on the floor. The manual says the line switches itself off after about 15 seconds. Sunrise describes it for moments when your steps stall: look at the line and step toward it. Do not look into the light. The line does not promise a change in your walking.
Seat and fold
The Canadian order includes the adjustable comfort back, not the plain back strap. Sit only with the parking brake on, using the whole seat. The basket is rated for 5 kg. Fold the frame until it locks, then stand it upright.
Use it indoors or outdoors on a flat, firm surface. It is not a climbing aid. Funding may help: see who may help pay. Compare other 4-wheel rollators, browse rollators, and see rollator accessories. Book a free home assessment, or ask service and contact us.
Frequently asked questions
How is the brake different from a usual rollator?
You hold the levers in to roll. Letting go applies the brake. A usual Gemino 20 works the other way: you squeeze to slow. Practise that difference on a flat floor before you go out.
How long does the green line stay on?
Press the button when you want the line. The manual says it turns off by itself after about 15 seconds. Aim it at the floor, not at anyone's eyes.
Is the slowdown brake an extra?
No. It is part of this model. Use it when you want steady resistance, then turn it off when you do not. It is separate from the levers you hold to roll.
Can I use this instead of the forearm walker?
No. This rollator has hand grips, a reverse brake, and the floor line. The Gemino 30 Walker has forearm supports and is marked for indoor use. They are different orders.
