Description
Interstate's GEL0035 is a pure gel deep cycle part for U1 scooters and power chairs, rated 31 Ah on the 20-hour rate at 12 V. It replaces a worn pair and brings the range back.
Which scooters and power chairs take it?
Pride's own specification sheets name U1 gel for several models. The Jazzy Air 2 power chair, the Revo 2.0 scooter and the Victory 10.2 scooter all call for two 12 V sealed deep cycle U1 batteries and all allow gel. Check your own model's sheet, and match the terminal to the battery you are taking out.
Gel, AGM or hybrid gel?
Your chair's own document decides. Some models list AGM, gel or hybrid gel as interchangeable, while others insist on one chemistry. Never mix a gel battery with an AGM in the same chair, and never pair an old battery with a new one.
Fitting and charging
- Terminal: M6 insert, threaded. Look at the old battery before ordering, because a U1 battery can come with a different terminal.
- Size: 7.68 x 5.20 x 6.46 in, at 22.49 lb each.
- Charging: the scooter or chair's own charger, on the gel setting where the charger offers one. The maker's label prints 14.1 to 14.4 V for cycle use and 13.5 to 13.8 V for standby.
- The maker's Canadian warranty chart names its DCM and DCL mobility batteries for 12 months of free replacement and does not name the gel line, so ask us for the current terms on this part.

Is the price for one battery or two?
One. Every price on this page is for a single battery, and a U1 scooter or chair takes two.
My chair lists AGM. Can I use this gel battery?
Only if your model's specification sheet allows gel or hybrid gel as well. Keep both batteries in the chair the same chemistry.
Can I take it on a plane?
The airline makes the final call, so ask before you travel, and we will confirm the maker's transport wording for the gel line on request.
