Description
On a one arm drive the shaft runs across the chair under the seat, turning the far wheel when the user pushes the near one. The shaft is extensible so its length can be set to the width of the chair.
The 12 in shaft is the shortest of nine lengths, running to 20 in, and each length has its own code. Helio A6 and C2 one-arm-drive setups exclude the HD option and have a 265 lb (120 kg) maximum; this is not a shaft rating.
The length has to suit the chair width, so the shaft is matched to the frame when it is fitted. Choose the length from the list and a technician will set the drive up; ask us if you are unsure which one.
