Evolution LC-435 has six item numbers. Medium and XXL differ in seat, rating and recline.
Who it fits
- Medium: about 5 ft 4 in to 5 ft 9 in (163 to 175 cm), at or under 400 lbs (181.5 kg), 22 in (559 mm) seat.
- XXL: about 5 ft 8 in to 6 ft 1 in (173 to 185 cm), at or under 600 lbs (272.2 kg), 29.5 in (749 mm) seat.
- The other item numbers are LC-435PW, LC-435S, LC-435L and LC-435XL. None of them is the Medium or the XXL.
Will it fit you and the room?
- Medium: seat 22 x 20 in, 20 in off the floor (559, 508, 508 mm). Back 26 in (660 mm). Overall 40.5 in wide, 46 in tall, 39 in deep (1029, 1168, 991 mm).
- XXL: seat 29.5 x 22 in, 20 in off the floor (749, 559, 508 mm). Back 27 in (686 mm). Overall 46.5 in wide, 46 in tall, 40 in deep (1181, 1168, 1016 mm).
- Wall gap 17.5 in or 19 in (445 or 483 mm). The chairs weigh 141 lbs or 196 lbs (64.0 or 88.9 kg).
What changes between the sizes
- Medium: pocketed coils, a chaise, a footrest extension, and USB-A and USB-C in the arm. Fabrics include Blue Diamond and Syrah.
- XXL: traditional 3-position. Total Comfort seat, split ottoman, no footrest extension, lithium backup. Mocha and Gravel only.
How it compares
- Petite Wide through Large let the leg rest lead. XL and XXL move the back and chaise together, like other 3-position lift chairs.

Frequently asked questions
Is Medium the same chair as XXL?
No. Medium is 400 lbs with a 22 in seat. XXL is 600 lbs with a 29.5 in seat and a lithium backup.
Does the leg rest move before the back?
On Petite Wide through Large, yes. On XL and XXL, no. Those two are traditional 3-position.
Which size has the footrest extension?
Petite Wide, Small, Medium and Large. The June 2026 sheet marks it not available on XL and XXL.
Where is the USB port?
Petite Wide through Large: USB-A and USB-C in the arm. XL and XXL: a lithium backup.
Do both sizes have a lifetime frame warranty?
Medium does, on the lift, shell and recline. XXL is excluded. Both are also 7-year pro-rated.
