Description
MC9RWZ is a printed Encore code: ReadyWide plus a built-in backup battery. The spec table rates the bed at 600 lb (272 kg) and 253 lb (115 kg). A marketing block on the same page still mentions 500 lb and 650 lb. Those figures are not the Encore table, so they are not used here.
Deck size, including a mismatch
Sleep width is printed as 36, 39 or 42 in, and the same row prints 889, 991 and 1067 mm. The first pair does not agree, because 36 in is about 914 mm. Width with rails is 40-1/2, 43-1/2 or 46-1/2 in (1029, 1105 or 1181 mm).
Sleep length is 76, 80 or 84 in. The 84 in length needs the 4 in extender. Overall length is 82, 86 or 90 in. The sleep surface retracts 12 in (305 mm).
Positions and the battery
Four actuators move the deck. Back 0 to 70 degrees, knee 0 to 30. The pendant includes auto-contour. The foot-end control adds lockout, Comfort Chair, Trendelenburg, reverse Trendelenburg and cardiac care.
Casters allow mobility at any height, and the head end has a directional lock. Descent pauses at 12.5 in (318 mm), then continues from the foot-end control. The backup battery is part of MC9RWZ. Rails are not: see bed rails.

Frequently asked questions
Is the backup battery included on MC9RWZ?
Yes. Savaria prints MC9RWZ as Encore ReadyWide with a built-in backup battery. MC9RW, without the Z, is the bed without that line.
Why does one block say 500 lb or 650 lb?
That block does not match the Encore spec table, which prints 600 lb (272 kg). This page uses the table.
Does 84 in come on the frame?
The sleep-length row says 84 in needs the 4 in extender kit. Q6785 is the factory extender code on this page.
Is a USB charger included?
The accessory list names a USB charging kit and does not give it this bed's code. It is not treated as included.
