Will it fit your chair?
- Match the item number to the seat, width first: GMW1816-96-1 is 18 in wide by 16 in deep.
- The wedge is 4 in (10 cm) high at the front and 2 in (5 cm) at the back, so it changes the seat angle. Check the footrests and the seat height after you fit it.
- Four sizes are on this page, 16 x 16 in, 18 x 16 in, 18 x 18 in and 20 x 18 in. If your seat is another size, ask us.
Living with it
- The cover has an anti-slip top surface and a non-skid bottom, so the wedge stays where it is put.
- The foam is the same high density foam the maker cuts for its Geo-Matt PRT cushion, with the segmented Geo-Matt surface on top.
- The bottom of the cover has a built-in sleeve for the maker's optional moulded Sling-Fill base, which is not included.

Does the wedge need a belt to hold it in place?
No. The maker describes the shape as restraint-free positioning, and the cover has a non-skid bottom.
Which way round does it go?
The thick end goes to the front of the seat, under the thighs, and the thin end to the back. That is what angles the hips back.
How much does it raise the seat?

Is there gel inside?
