Description
The Geo-Mattress Pro is a single-layer Span foam mattress. The current page lists three lengths, all 35 inches wide, at 300 lbs.
Who is it for?
- The limit is 300 lbs (136 kg). That is lower than the Plus page's 400 lbs. Do not use the Plus number here.
- Height is 6" (15 cm) at the centre. The mattress weighs 21 lbs (10 kg). The bed's own limit still applies if it is lower.
- It is foam only. See foam mattresses for other foam choices. The care team chooses the surface.
Sizes, and the raised edge
- PR7535-29 is 75" (191 cm). PR8035-29 is 80" (203 cm). PR8435-29 is 84" (213 cm). All are 35" (89 cm) wide.
- Span lists a raised perimeter as an option. It is not one of these three codes. Span says that option is meant to prompt the person away from the edge and to reduce fall and side-rail entrapment risk. It is not a bed rail. These three sizes do not include it.

Build and care
- More than 800 cells, a heel slope, and a ring-of-air to move heat. The cover is bacteriostatic and fluid-proof, with a hidden zipper. Span cites a very low moisture-vapour rate. Machine-wash steps are not printed.
- Test the rails. Health Canada flags gaps over 120 mm (4 3/4 in) in zones 1 to 3.
- Warranty is 5 years on the core and 2 years on the cover. The page does not say non-prorated. See warranty service.

Is the raised side edge included?
No. Span offers it as an option. The three codes here are the flat 35" widths.
What is the weight limit?
300 lbs (136 kg) on the Pro page, or the bed's limit if that is lower.
Does the Pro have a heel slope?
Yes. Span says the slope spreads pressure along the lower leg.
