Description
EZee Life walker skis CH1085 are a pair of slide tips for a person using an EZee Life folding walker who should not lift every leg.
What does it do and how does it work?
Each ski takes the place of a rubber tip so that leg slides across the floor and over a doorway threshold.
- Twist the ski into the hole at the bottom of the leg. The leg post stays on the frame.
- Fit the pair on the rear legs when the front legs have wheels, or on the front legs when the rear legs keep rubber tips.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
These skis suit an EZee Life one-button or two-button folding walker: CH1080, CH1081, CH1083, CH1084, CH1086 or CH1087. A rollator does not use them.
We confirm the walker model before you order if the frame is not one of those EZee Life models.
Will it fit?
The ski fits the hole left when the rubber tip is twisted off. Lay the walker on its side, twist the rubber tip off, and twist the ski up into the post until it sits firm.
Leave the leg post on the frame. The height button is for a wheel post, not for a ski.
Using it day to day
Open and lock both sides of the frame before you walk. Set the handles at wrist height, with the elbows bent about 20 to 30 degrees.
Rear skis with front wheels let you push: the rear legs slide and the front legs roll. Front skis leave the rear rubber tips planted.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
CH1085 is one pair, and wheel posts are a separate part. More wheels make this walker faster and harder to control, so fit wheels in pairs, never one post or three.
See walker accessories for other walker parts, and rollator accessories if the frame has a seat and hand brakes.
How does it compare?
A standard walker still lifts until two legs can slide. A two-wheel walker already rolls at the front, which is the layout these rear skis are sold for.
Frequently asked questions
Do I take the leg posts off to fit the skis?
No. Twist off only the rubber tip, then twist each ski into the bottom of that same post.
Can I put skis on all four legs?
The pair covers two legs. Use rear skis with front wheels, or front skis with rubber tips left on the rear.
What if the walker feels too fast after I add wheels?
More wheels make the frame faster and harder to control. Fit wheels in pairs, never one post or three.
