Article 9138 is the disposable cover for the SystemRoMedic RollerSlide, the padded sliding board used for supine transfers. Each cover is used once and discarded.
Which RollerSlide models does it fit?
- The long, 50 cm (19.7 in) wide boards: RollerSlide 9120 light, 9145 and 9148 flexi.
- All three are 175 x 50 cm (68.9 x 19.7 in) and bridge gaps up to 20 cm (7.87 in).
- The short boards 9110, 9155 and 9158 take the short cover, article 9168, not this one.
- The maker lists no disposable cover for the wider 60 cm boards, 9170 and 9175.
Who is the disposable cover for?
- Emergency departments and isolation wards, where a single-use cover lowers the risk of cross-infection.
- Units that share a board between users and want to cut laundry.
- Anywhere the cover is discarded after one use rather than laundered.
How is it used?
- Tear one cover off the roll and pull it over the RollerSlide board.
- The board's own ULF sliding cover stays on underneath; it is the part that glides.
- Discard the cover after one use: it cannot be laundered.
- Inspect the board and its sliding cover before each transfer, and replace any worn part.
Disposable or washable cover?
Article 9136 is the reusable washable cover for the same three boards. Choose the disposable cover for single-use infection control, and the washable cover where laundry is available.
What else suits a supine transfer?
The RollerSlide moves a passive user between a bed and an operating or x-ray table, a shower trolley or a stretcher. It sits with the transfer aids under patient lifts and is often ordered with hospital beds and patient lift slings.

Is this one cover or a box?
Article 9138 is two rolls of 50, so 100 covers in the box. One price covers the whole box.
Does the board still need its sliding cover?
Yes. The maker says a ULF sliding cover must stay on the board; the disposable cover goes over it.
Can the disposable cover be washed and reused?
No. It is single-use and cannot be laundered. Discard it after each transfer.
Will it fit a short RollerSlide?
No. The short boards 9110, 9155 and 9158 take article 9168. This cover is for the long 50 cm wide boards only.
