Description
A moistened washcloth for everyday personal care, large enough for an adult body and packed for homes, clinics and care homes that use them daily. The maker describes the Classic line as economical personal hygiene for skin that is healthy but delicate.
How the maker packs it
- The maker packs 48 washcloths to a pack and 12 packs to a case, 576 washcloths in all.
- Each washcloth is 20 x 31.7 cm, the maker's adult size.
- Disposable, used once and then discarded.
- Ask us whether your order is a single pack or the case before you buy.
Who it suits, and when to choose something else
- Daily washing and perineal care where a cloth and a basin would be slower and colder.
- Care homes, clinics and home care visits where the same wipe is used by many hands.
- Skin that is healthy but delicate, the case the maker names for this line.
- Choose a scent-free washcloth instead if a fragrance matters to the person being washed. The maker's Ultra line includes a scent-free version, and we can quote it on request.
Using it well
- Take one washcloth at a time and close the pack afterwards so the rest do not dry out.
- Warm the cloth in your hands or in a warmer if the person feels the cold. The maker prints no warming instruction, so follow your own routine and the pack label.
How it compares
The maker also sells an Ultra washcloth and a scent-free Ultra washcloth, different lines at different piece counts. This page covers the Classic washcloth only. For the rest of the bedside items see the patient room products range, and for the wider catalogue see medical supplies.
