Description
The Ki Mobility Axiom ASP is a pre-contoured wheelchair cushion with fluid inserts. Ki rates it for skin protection and positioning. An occupational therapist or physiotherapist chooses it in a seating assessment, for one wheelchair.
Ki's manual prints a maximum user weight of 350 lb (158 kg). The live chart prints the same 350 lb figure, an overall height of 5.5 in (140 mm) and a leg-trough height of 3.8 in (95 mm). The chart lists one product weight, 3.3 lb (1.5 kg), and does not name the size that was weighed.
Which width and depth match the chair?
Widths and depths run from 14 in to 22 in (356 to 559 mm), in 67 pairs rather than every width with every depth.
The 14 in width is built 14 to 20 in deep, the 17 in and 18 in widths start at 15 in deep, the 19 in, 20 in and 22 in widths start at 16 in deep, and the 21 in width starts at 18 in deep. Order the cushion to the wheelchair's seat width and seat depth.
Each pair carries its own item number, XASP plus the width and the depth, so XASP1818 is 18 x 18 in. Tell us the width and depth you need and we confirm the item number on your order.
SE0001932 is the code for the standard sizes. One code does not cover every width and depth in that range, so tell us the seat width and depth and we confirm the code that applies to your size.
The Axiom AS on the same chart is the lower cushion. Ask about it if the seat must sit lower.
How is it built?
Ki describes a structural foam base with channels for the fluid, bilateral ischial fluid inserts, and separate trochanteric inserts with a stiffer fluid. A spacer fabric sits over a comfort layer, and vents let the cushion respond when air pressure changes. The outer cover is a four-way stretch fabric.
Cover, setup and returns
A cushion that has been used, has touched the skin, or is classed as hygienic is not returnable. Read the return policy before you order.

Funding
Funding may help: see who may help pay. A written seating quote starts at wheelchair configuration. Other cushions are under cushions, such as the Geo-Matrix Platinum gel cushion and the ROHO Hybrid Select air cushion.
Warranty
Ki warrants the ASP base and the fluid pads for 24 months from purchase, for the first owner, under normal use.
Frequently asked questions
Is SE0001932 one cushion for every size?

What user weight does Ki print?
350 lb (158 kg) in the owner manual. The live chart prints 350 lb as well.
