Description
BIOS Living 59057 is a raised toilet seat that clamps to the bowl and adds 4 in (10 cm). It replaces the seat on the toilet now: what you sit on is the raised seat.
How it fixes to the bowl
The maker's fitting steps are tool free. Turn the seat upside down, slide the two brackets and screws into the side slots, then set it on the bowl with the narrow cut-out at the front and the front lip against the outside of the bowl.
- Two brackets and two screws, all in the box.
- Tighten by hand only, as the maker asks.
- Check the brackets before each use and keep your weight centred.
- To lift it off, loosen the screws and pull the front forward.
Height and weight
It adds 4 in (10 cm) and BIOS rates it to 300 lb (136 kg). The same maker builds 2 in and 6 in seats and versions with a lid, none of which we stock; this one is code 59057.
BIOS lists it for most standard toilets. Tell us your toilet shape and we confirm what we can supply before you order.
Cleaning and care
Wipe it with warm water and a non-abrasive cleaner, then dry it. The screws come out of the brackets for cleaning behind them.
Delivery, returns and service
We deliver and set up across Toronto and the GTA. Because of hygiene rules an opened bathroom item cannot come back to us, as our returns policy explains. The one year limited warranty runs through BIOS Living, and we handle warranty service on what we sell.
A toilet safety frame is a different kind of support. If you are not sure which suits your bathroom, ask us.

Frequently asked questions
Does the seat come off the toilet again?
Yes. Loosen the two screws and lift the front forward. People take it off for a deeper clean or to move it to another bathroom.
How much height does the 59057 add?
4 in (10 cm), the maker's figure. BIOS builds 2 in and 6 in seats under other codes; if you need a different step up, tell us.
Is there a lid on this one?
No. BIOS makes with-lid seats under separate codes, and we stock the 4 in seat without a lid.
How much weight does it hold?
300 lb (136 kg), the maker's rating for this raised seat.
My toilet is an elongated one. Does that matter?
BIOS lists the seat for most standard toilets and notes it may not suit every bowl. Send us your toilet shape and we confirm before you order.
