Description
Bridge Bath Lift (MP-P01) is a powered tub lift by Climbing Steps. Six suction cups hold it in the tub, it lowers you to the bottom of the water, and it reclines.
Who is it for?
It suits someone who can stand with a handhold but cannot lower themselves safely into a bath. It also works from the floor, so a carer can raise a person who has fallen without lifting them. It is not for a hoist transfer.
Will it fit your tub?
The base measures 14.4" by 23.6", and 28" across with both transfer flaps out. The maker publishes no tub size range and no floor surface for the suction cups. Book a free home assessment and we measure your tub first.
How do you set it up and adjust it?
Setup needs no tools and no bathroom modification, and the lift folds flat with a carry handle. Height and recline run on the hand control: the seat travels from 2.38" to 18.99", and the backrest reclines up to 54 degrees. The latex-free padded seat lifts off for cleaning.
How safe is it to use?
Climbing Steps rates the seat for 315 lb (142.9 kg). The hand control is waterproof and floats, and it carries an emergency stop.
Which lift should you compare?
- Drive Bellavita: another powered bath lift.
- Medline EZ Bath Lift: sold here under the Drive Medical brand.
- All bath lifts: the range.
