Description
The Winnie Lite Supreme is Drive's three-wheel rollator for someone who wants loop-lock brakes and a pouch, and who does not need a seat.
Who it suits, and who should look elsewhere
- A person who steers a lighter three-wheel frame and can keep both hands on the grips.
- Not over 300 lb (136 kg). Not for someone who needs to sit: RTL199 has no seat.
- A four-wheel rollator is the steadier choice when a seat matters more than a tight turn.
Will the handles and the frame fit?
- Handles adjust from 30.75 in to 37.5 in (78-95 cm) with the knobs. Drive prints no user-height range on the current sheet.
- Set both handles to the same hole. The bolt head sits in the hex inside each receptacle.
- Width and length are not on the current sheet, so measure the frame against the doorway first. Other three-wheel choices are on our three-wheel rollator page.
Brakes, folding and what it is not for
- Pull the loop up to slow while you walk. Push it down to park. Lift it to release the park.
- Use the loop only to brake, and check that it is tight before you walk.
- To fold: stand behind it, pull the black locking handle back until the hinge releases, then push the sides together until the frame is flat.
- Keep your weight between the grips, with the rollator in front. Do not carry a person on it.
- The brake cable wears. Clockwise on the nut tightens it. A broken cable has to be replaced.
How it compares
- Drive Nitro 3-wheel rollator: a different Drive model, for a buyer who wants that frame's seat.
- Mobb 3-wheel aluminum rollator: another three-wheel aluminum walker, with its own limits.
Funding and warranty
Funding may help: see who may help pay. Drive says a qualified dealer should assemble it. On delivery we set the handles and walk through the brakes.
The frame is warranted for the life of the original buyer. Misuse, wear, rubber parts, casters and grips are excluded.
Frequently asked questions
Can I rest on this rollator?
No. RTL199 has no seat on Drive's current sheet. Choose a rollator with a seat if you need to sit partway.
Which way does the loop move to park?
Push the loop down to park, and lift it to release. Pulling up only slows you while you walk.
Does a basket come in the box?
No. The standard item is the tan plaid pouch. The manual mentions a basket only as an if-fitted extra.
What wears out and is not covered?
Rubber accessories, casters, grips and the brake cable. The lifetime warranty leaves those out, along with misuse and ordinary wear.
