Park this aluminum piece at a door sill. It is the EZ-ACCESS TRANSITIONS ramp in our threshold ramps, and it is not the rubber mat.
Which height
Measure the sill. The maker's heights are 1, 1.5, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 in, each with its own length. The flap adds about 1/4 in up or down.
A 1 in ramp covers about 0.75 to 1.25 in and a 6 in ramp covers about 5.75 to 6.25 in. A sill between those bands needs the next height, not a guess.
How it differs from the rubber mat
This ramp is aluminum, 34 in wide, rated 700 lb, and the sections slide together. The rubber angled entry mat is a different TRANSITIONS product, with its own height and a higher capacity. Do not mix the two photos or the two warranties.
It can move to another door later, and the sections slide apart for storage. It is still a threshold piece for a sill, not a step ramp: if your entrance drops by a full step, ask us about a portable or modular ramp instead.

Is this the rubber threshold mat?
No. This is the aluminum modular entry ramp. The rubber mat is a separate TRANSITIONS product.
What height should I order?
Measure the sill and match a band. The flap only adds 1/4 in. A 4 in ramp is not a 6 in ramp with a section removed unless the maker's own note for that height says so.
How wide is the walking surface?
34 in on the maker's table, the same on every height.
Can it stay outside?
The maker lists it for residential use with a slip-resistant tread. It does not print a snow or ice rating.
